Small Leather Goods — Wallets, Pouches & Accessories
Design Associate specializing in accessories and leather goods, leading design and development across licensed and branded partnerships — managing 100+ SKUs from concept through production across handbags, small leather goods, and athletic accessories.
Zoey Ross is a New York City-based designer whose work lives at the intersection of architectural observation and artisanal leather craft. Her original collection draws from the visual language of the city itself — the ornamental ironwork of SoHo, the quiet rhythm of brownstone facades, the geometry of cast-iron fire escapes — translating these details into hand-tooled leather goods with a distinctly modern point of view.
Trained at Parsons School of Design at The New School, Zoey works in heavyweight vegetable-tanned leather, engraving and tooling architectural motifs that bring dimension and narrative to each piece. The collection reinvents the traditionally Western craft of leather tooling for an urban context — replacing pastoral imagery with the intricate facades, crown moldings, and structural detailing that define city life. Each product is constructed almost as a building in miniature, with layered trims and dimensional elements that create depth beyond surface decoration.
Her design sensibility pairs technical rigor with a deep respect for material — choosing leather for its permanence, its ability to hold precise detail, and the way it rewards craftsmanship. From concept sketching through production-ready tech packs, Zoey brings the same architectural attention to every stage of the design process.
